Fox News biggie, Bill O'Reilly, the man who would cheer if Al Qaeda attacked San Francisco, is unapologetic. "What I said isn't controversial," he said on a conservative radio station in response to critics. "What I said needed to be said." Think Progress has the transcript and the audio.

Dear Frederick,
I have been reading your blog for quite a while now and have always been amazed that there are so few comments here. On the other hand I just joined the brilliantly conceived talk-to-action site, but could not post comments there so here I go :-)
I wanted to add some info about my work on the religious right published on my Swedish blog, since it seems lika I am the only person in Sweden writing about Rushdoony, Gary North and so on

Now I am on an entirely different mission. To put it mildly: it is not very popular writing about these matters in Sweden and I am currently - and explicitely ("why should we publsih this?") in the Swedish media. On top of that I have not been able to attract any interest from USA journalists via email and phone calls so blog comments seem to be the best way for me to get the message out in US too.
I will return to talk-to-action later and see if my account still is sleeping, so in the meantime I copy a post I just added to the eminent Orcinus blog.

This is people really loving Michelle Malkin and similar extremists! Dick Erixon and Johan Norberg - JN, the globalization prophet featured in the New York Times and similar publications - are linking to Malkin and using her madness as some sort of reference point for their own agenda. Search on malkin site:erixon.com on Google and you will see what I mean. Erixon/Norberg used to work at Timbro.se, the one and only Swedish think tank of ANY prominence.
Now there is the tiny little problem for a blogger in Sweden: the neocons have more or less invaded the Swedish Bloggistan as well as media. And the hilarious part is that these extremists are calling themselves LIBERALS! Yes! The Liberal Party - Folkpartiet FP - has become the most extreme and dangerous political force in Sweden after World War II. They will put Sweden into Nato on day one if they win the election next year. One of the most prominent FP politician has suggested that school and SÄPO (the secret national security police - a mix between CIA and FBI) in schools all around Sweden to help teachers become aware of Muslim extremism "early warnings".
These folks - "liberals" in general - have been harassing me since last year, just because I expose what they are doing. They have threatened to sue me, they have called my ISP and tried to make him remove their names from my blog, they smear med everywhere on the web as a left-wing antisemitic extremist. You get the idea? No I have had enough of this, and since the Swedish press is ignoring this and flat out REFUSE to write about these hate crimes, I have decided to use this rather unorthodox method to reach interested people in the USA and elsewhere.

I have read a lot about FOX News - books and articles - and I have seen the OutFoxed film, but despite all these preparations NOTHING seems to have been able to TRULY transmit how ghastly this channell is!
You see, I just added some 200 new channels to out TV and FOX News was fortunately one of those so I try to see as much as I can even if it is really too late for Swedish viewers.
I wonder why nobody has commented on Bill O'Reilly's EYES: totally empty and dead. A zoombie?
